Help understanding - Panda's - 42mm or 44mm, or both??

Trying to understand the Panda dial - I'm seeing 2 different descriptions on the internet and have uncovered 2 reference #'s - Is the 44mm Panda referred to as "Themes Panda" and did this replace a 42mm model? -

My wrist is better suited for 44mm so I'm trying to make sure I'm looking at the right model.

Thanks all!!

Brian

Panda or Silver Themes is 42mm however the SS 44mm also have a panda looking dial.

I believe the reference to panda is usually to the 42mm offshore, which has been discontinued but can still be found either with or without the bracelet. The stainless steel 44 mm novelty is the closest AP has to a panda now for current models.

Thanks! I wonder why I see descriptions that list 44 mm on a lot of the panda's on line am I looking at the 44mm novelty - They appear to be the same - or maybe they are just being inaccurately described.

Probably short hand more than anything else. Although it is not uncommon for online listings to get the sizes wrong in the 42mm listings. But as long as you know what you want looks like you will be fine. The pushers are very different between the two sizes.

Yes, thanks, as I figure this out I see that the 44mm models on the AP site show the flat pushers, an entirely different thing -

I am intrigued by the ROO 42mm with the ceramic pushers, looks like an improvement, looks sharp too.

Thanks for your help!

Several sites don't have sizing correct--Panda is 42mm.

This is confusing. A lot of the dealers here on the forum are saying their Panda's are 44MM, but they look like the 42's to me.

They are 42mm ...if a dealer has one listed as 44mm, might want to think about purchasing from them
