Close to buying a Daytona - which model?

I need a Daytona for my collection - they are really beautiful watches, and very different from the other Rolex models. All gold is gorgeous, but not in the cards right now. At the other end of the cost spectrum, the SS White model is beautiful, but I think I'd rather go with TT. I have a TT Sub and really love it. The Daytona TT with Gray dial is striking. Which TT model speaks to you the loudest?

Tough choice. Panda and blue are both nice.

I wouldn't rule out the SS though, it's stunning and iconic.

Nice. TT blue dial would be my choice for a TT Daytona. May find one in the for sale section here (saw one or two recently).

Whichever you choose will be great in your collection.
TT Zenith Daytonas seem to be the best deal right now.

Well you wanted a TT and you are rather lucky the wonderful Panda dial comes in TT as otherwise it is only for the gold models so I would go for it.

Never seen a dial on a Daytona I dislike...I do prefer the 'stick' dials though as the other tends too look to busy...all gorgeous though!

Have the TT Daytona with the white/gold face. Beautiful watch and a little more bling than the panda. Both nice watches.

Rolex developed their own movement - the 4130 for the Daytona in 2000 (116520). Prior to that the movement was a Zenith (16520).

I had a white stick dial TT Daytona that I have since sold. I really enjoyed that watch. Other dial colors that stand out to me are black stick, blue Arabic (this one especially) and white Arabic.
