Which looks best on me? Which to buy?
I went to an AD today to contemplate my first Rolex purchase. I expected to prefer the GMT-Master II or SUBc, but I think the Black Explorer II may have won it for me. What do you guys think; a second opinion is always welcome!

I am amazed at how the Sub NEVER looks out of place on anyone's wrist or with any dress!

The second and third watches (Explorer and Sub) look best on your wrist, IMO. And I'm not an Explorer guy, but it does look good on you.
My personal feeling is that the Sub is the best all-round watch in existence. You can wear it in a suit, or working out in the yard gardening. |

I can't live without the date function... and i do not like the EXP 2 so... With that said, White EXP looks best on your wrist out of all those

Choice is so subjective, I'd go with the sub, but you should get whichever one you want most...........if you keep visiting this asylum you will undoubtedly get others later!
It will be interesting to see how you get on with a visit to the USA next week and a TRF seller, let us know how it goes |

I prefer the Sub, but the reason they make so many different models is to suit all tastes. If you like the EXPII better, then that is the one you should buy.

The Sub is never a bad choice for a first Rolex....go GMT if you're looking for something less common and a little more dressy due to the PCLs or go with the Exp II (both dial colors are great) if you lead an active lifestyle and want a watch built like a tank.

They're all a bit on the big side for you. Definitely avoid the 42 mm ones.

Explorer II all the way The fixed bezel with engraved numbers is a far better look for casual and dress. Gives youthe GMT feature as well.
