If it were me I'd go for the sunburst dial all day long I love that dial, it's almost hypnotic when you look at it. I think I'd look at it just for the sake of looking at it not caring what the time is. Let us know what you decide

with the YG, the diamonds is too much for me (but, on WG, they work fine).
is flat without diamonds an option? |

I'm not the biggest fan of diamonds. But there are certain dials where I think diamonds look good. This is not one of them. I have the sunburst and I love it.

No diamonds for me either...for some reason whenever I see Rolexes with diamonds I immediately think they are aftermarket even though I know they aren't necessarily. Ruins it for me.

I'd look for flat non-serti.

If you were going to have diamonds then it is best on a flat dial as it enhances the appearance of the flat. I have a WG sub with diamonds and it is stunning. It is only one of two in my collection that have diamonds. Nothing wrong with diamonds. If you were getting the sunburst dial then the dial makes up for no diamonds from the sheen it gives off. Tough decision for you. How many watches do you already own?

Sorry... money is not a problem but you can't make this decision? Might as well go with diamonds.

Heck, if money's not a problem, buy both!
Seriously, of those two, sunburst all day every day. The flat blue is best with WG, as others have noted. Welcome to the forum! |

No diamonds. Unless you are a gangsta or rapper or under 40 (IMO, so set phasers on stun pls).
As to the dial color, Sunburst really changes depending on the light, from almost black in low light to bright hypnotic blue in sunlight. That is a tough decision. If you want the same color blue all the time, go flat. Otherwise, Sunburst. |

Diamond flat is nice but it can't compare to the sunburst IMO

The diamonds really ruin the looks of the watch.
Enjoy the watch no matter the one choose

Picked up a Sunburst dial few days ago. PHAT watch! Saw the flat blue with the diamonds but too but didn't like it. Too poncy.
Go with the Sunburst, you won't be disappointed! |

I'm usually a diamond guy, but the daimond looks odd not having gemstones on the 12,6,9 like the Serti, and the sunburst does add a nice dimension to the watch. I'd go diamond, but by a small margin.
