how secure are the clasps where there are no holes for the micro adjust spring bars,

just indentations in the clasp wall thickness for the spring bar tips?

i would presume that the older type of clasps with holes in the side walls thru which the spring bar tips would project would be mush stronger and more secure.

if the sidewalls on the older clasps were, say 1mm thick, and the indentations in the newer clasps are just say 0.3mm deep, wouldn't the older clasps be more secure?

has anyone measured the older clasps wall thickness and the newer clasps indentation depths?

would this 0.3mm traction be enough to hold the watch securely in place?

has anyone heard of a watch falling off because the spring bars on such newer clasps failed?
