I can't see that that's anything other than a fake insert.

I actually wouldn't mind a ceramic bezel like the Platona or the Rose gold version

Cool idea, but certainly not worth $27K!

Looking at it again I can see its nothing like the ceramic bezel, looks like one of the aftermarket Bakelite things
How'd they justify that price? |

I can read it, so I like it.
Now, as to parting with $27k for it, hmmmmmmmmmmm, I don't think so.

Am I the only one who likes this?? I think the idea is great, but I agree that for that price you can buy something much better.

Mod Daytona
Seen that one, I agree. Honestly when I saw it I thought it looked like a replica. Bamford makes a DSSD that is sick. It's the only modified Rolex I could see myself getting right now. If it was 15k maybe but $24k, nope. I'll try to find it and link.

If I were ever going to go for a watch with a modification, it would need to be much more subtle…

You can go on EBay and buy the parts for 700 bucks total and put it on your own Daytona if that was something you wanted to do. Once the novelty wore off revert back to original without the ridiculous sting.
But hey, that's just one opinion. |
