If you are the owner of the 42mm Exp II then no........ If you are the old school Exp II owner yes. There is a difference in $$$.

Straight trade? No. Cash my way? Possibly.
I have tried on the 42mm Explorer II at the AD. I personally prefer the old style, from the size to he hands to the red 24-hour indicator. |

Not feasible, unless you really like the earlier ref.

if you like it, and happy pursuing the trade, go for it. but the 42mm is better. IMO.

Not straight up. You can get 6500 for your 42, and a new 40 should be around 5. But I do prefer the 40 over the 42mm

I appreciate both pieces but the new polar is just plain beautiful. No way I would do the trade.

Not a fair trade unless you get some cash as well.

What do you like? If you like the old school better than do a trade for equal value (watch plus cash or other compensation). The new watch has a higher price tag but personally I prefer the 40mm versions.

HELL NO...here's why:
42mm for me is the perfect case size for a sports watch. Also I've always said orange and white are the better color combination. And for the old school black and red are the better color combination.

if the updated style was 40mm, it would be the perfect watch. I'd own the white and the black.

Dont do the trade, even though 42mm is too big, the updates are worth it. Bracelet, markers and lume are far superior.

I prefer the newer EXPII by a mile. If your wrist can accommodate it then I'd stick to that one.

The older EXP polar is my absolute favorite. Gets almost all of my wrist time.

I have a minty Y serial polar I'll trade you, JK JK. All joking aside I like the look of the older, but you can really feel the improvments on the new in terms of the bracelt and clasp.
I bought my 16570 to be understated for traveling, and felt with my Milgauss I already had one Rolex with a big organge hand. |
