How long was your honeymoon phase?

I purchased my first Rolex (a 39mm Explorer) almost 4 weeks ago to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary and I have literally thanked my wife everyday since then. I have purchased many things in my 41 years but nothing has put a smile on my face everyday like my Explorer. Clearly, I'm still in my honeymoon phase.

How long was your honeymoon phase with your first Rolex?

It usually lasts until I buy the next one. But some keep going for longer.

My love affair never ends with any of my watches, but that doesn't mean I don't begin looking for new ones to add almost immediately..bad addiction.

I tried that on for the first time this weekend. It is amazing.

Are you wearing anything else in your collection, or just this now?

For me, I'm going on 6 months with my SS Daytona and I'm still in the honeymoon stage.

I don't think it ends. I bought a BLNR about 18 months after my first, a white dial ExpII. When I bought the BLNR I started a love affair with that but it didn't stop me loving my Exp one bit. I obviously have a lot of love to share around so I better buy another piece haha

With my last acquisition, I wish the honeymoon would last for at least a year or so. But I can't stop looking around!

The only watch I have ever had a honeymoon phase with is the Daytona SACO. That phase is still going strong and will never stop.

All of my other SS and 18K pieces I really couldnt care less about. The thrill was over with the chase on each piece.

The love affair with a Milguass that I bought in 2008 from an AD lasted almost 4 years but sadly we are now living apart and soon papers may need to be served.
