FS; Grand Seiko Spring Drive GMT SBGE005 - SOLD
Hi everyone,
Up for sale is my Grand Seiko SBGE005 Spring Drive GMT. I purchased the watch back in April from a long time member of WUS who purchased the watch brand new on January 7th 2014. The watch saw use as part of my rotation (worn about once a week} for a two month period then sat in my watch box for the last three months. The lack of wrist time can be directly attributed to my shrinking taste in watch size. I find myself reaching for watches 39mm or less when looking for a casual dress watch to wear to work. I'm reluctant to sell the watch because I don't know if and when this trend may reverse for me. This is the one and only reason I'm selling this watch . . . if it was only 38mm she would be staying with me! Here are the specs; Drive system Spring Drive Caliber No. 9R66 Case Stainless steel Case back See-through screw case back with sapphire crystal Glass High definition dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating Bracelet Solid stainless steel Buckle Stainless steel with three-fold clasp with push button release Accuracy ±1 second / day Water resistance 10 bar Magnetic resistance 4800 A/m (60 gauss) Weight 157g Case thickness 13.8mm Case diameter 41.0mm Jewels 30 Remarks Screw crown Blue-steel 24 hours hand The watch is is in excellent to near mint condition according to the TZ grading system, just the faintest of hairlines that can only be picked up under the right lighting upon the closest scrutiny. An easy 93% you will most likely grade it higher as I have a tendency to be very conservative with grading my watches. This is a beautiful watch that will have you mesmerized by its incredibly smooth sweeping spring drive second hand and its outstanding polished by hand finish. The dial changes color depending on lighting conditions and the hour markers bling. For those of you who have handled or own Grand Seikos you understand. For those who have not, wait until you open the box! MSRP on the watch is $5700, I'm selling mine at $3875 firm. Payment by PayPal, confirmed address only, within the ConUS only please. About the only watch I would consider in trade would be a Grand Seiko SBGR059 in equal condition. I know I'm a newbie but you can find (by post count) but you can find me in the who's who forum. Please pm me with any questions. Thanks for looking, Kevin |
