Day date 2 which dial ??
I decided on the day date 2 as my first gold watch although picking a dial seems hard for me to do. For those who have or have owned one what would you say is the nicest ? I am thinking of the ivory Arabic numbers as first choice, the white roman as second and the black Roman as third. Please give me some feedback and help me through my decision because I will never see them all side by side.

I love Romans on the white dial. Don't have the privilege of owning a Day-Date, but I used to love this one
To me, Roman numerals are dressier than Arabic, and make it a very special "special occasion watch." If you plan to wear it daily however, the Arabic dial may be better suited to your needs. |

I would say the white romans would be the most popular on this forum.

Day date 2 which dial ??
I guess you can always change up the dials if you are inclined too. There are a lot of great options out there. I went with champagne with diamond markers...

It'd be tough for me to pick between white roman, or chocolate roman.
I hope to someday get to decide... |

That's one of my favorites too, but it's not available on the gold models that he's considering.

My father has a WG DDII black arabic on a slightly less-than-black dial. Looks really cool!

Man, it's hard enough making up your mind with the limited selection in the date-just dials...I'd go crazy deciding on the day-date...

For me, it would depend on the color of gold.

Well then, let me suggest the silver... Really like the ivory arabic with concentric too. I may try to source that one down the road for a change up look.

For YG, white Roman, for RG, chocolate Roman. Those still leave you with a black dial YG GMTc or Subc partner.

Don't own a DD II, but if I did, the choices would be as follows:
YG: White roman dial RG: Chocolate roman dial WG: Black roman dial PLT: Ice blue roman dial

I went with the White Roman Dial because I thought it had a clean and classic look.

This one was the one I kept seeing other member pictures of and decided to go with a very classic choice. (the prior post is one of the most influential ones viewed)I have really enjoyed it so far.

So many nice options.
For RG I like chocolate / romans YG white / romans WG unsure - I did see one with a chocolate dial with wg romans and it was VERY cool. PT Mike's dials the obvious winner |

I like the silver with linen finish, myself. Get what YOU like. You will see it more than everyone else combined.

Let me toss a vote out for silver / romans. It just seems very classy to me.
