Welcome to TRF, ID12345678!
I recommend buying from an AD (Authorized Dealer) for peace of mind. You get full benefits of the warranty and you are sure to get the real thing. What model Rolex do you desire? BTW.: if you want, you can add your real first name under your nick by going to "User CP" and add in the the profile settings. This will give you a more personal experience here, since "Hi ID12345678, how ya doin'" sounds kinda impersonal, imho. Best of luck!

Thanks. I have updated this now. An auuthorized dealer is from a shop? I wouldnt buy one on the streets coz i know it will be fake. What about the internet? I quite like the Air range tbh!

Hi Dave welcome, if you want to purchase from a non AD, I would suggest talking to this company
www.dream-watches.co.uk very reliable and respected. Also on e-bay look out for Johnny Marrs from Ancient and Modern again very reliable. He can be reached on Ancient and Modern Jewellers 17 New Market Street Blackburn Lancashire BB1 7DR Tel: (01254) 677866 Fax: (01254) 668818 Home Fax: (01625) 252745 Mobile (7 days a week): (07791) 395590 An AD is the term we use for an authorised Rolex Retailer. If you can afford it your best buying from an AD

Dave, Hi and welcome to TRF. I can fully endorse Tony's post here, especially as we both have a great relationship and deal with the same AD - he really is top drawer.

Go and have a look round the Bond St/Picadilly/Burlington Arcade area and this will give you some idea of shops and stock. My neighbour had a bad experience with Ancient and modern.

I would never recommend buying a watch from david duggan, he is what i would call a prostitute on watches, wants to buy your watch at a low price then sell it for an extorionate profit.
ancient and Modern in Blackburn, good parallel trader, always has a good selection and can supply most watches pretty quickly. but at a premium. If you want the name of a proper Authorised dealer i would recommend 2 1. mappin & webb in regent street and fenchurch street 2 Goldsmiths group in particular the one in tunbridge wells, you could also try watches of switz in new bond street. more than pleased to help you, let me know which model of watch you are looking for regards mark |
