My very first Rolex 114060
Hello everyone
I just bought my first Rolex 114060 (brand new) .. I decided to get this valuable timepiece for my 26th birthday I'm doing my master in Management Information Systems, and I have a degree in Quality Management. I'm rewarding my self and reminding my self for what I accomplished so far .. I was between 114060 and 116610 ..BUT something deep inside me likes 114060, I guess maybe it related to Sub history ! Congratulations. I have the older, 14060m and when I had the chance to buy it, never gave a thought to the lack of a date. Now I am glad to have the cleaner, simple dial, and yours has the ceramic bezel and the improved bracelet and clasp. I hope you enjoy every tick of the movement!

Chaps
I will say just one thing about this thread. It is really good to see a young man of 26 demonstrate such good taste by buying a good quality watch that is not gaudy. He has chosen to buy a discrete SS watch and all credit to him for that. This restores my faith in human nature. Regards Mick |

I can't argue with the good taste of your purchase - I bought the same model earlier this year!

Mazel Tov, wear it in good health. I flipped an older EXP II for this model 4 months ago, no regrets!

Cogratulations on your accomplishments and the 114060. An excellent choice for your first Rolex. Used to own a 16610 LN, but now own the 114060 and can say that if I were to choose now between the 116610 LN and the 114060, I would go with the 114060 hands down. The clean look of this watch is truly something else.

great watch. i owned one for about four months and then flipped it back for a vintage but refurbished '78 5513. i miss the larger hands, plots and lume of the 114060 but like the smaller case size of the 5513. wear in good health.

Great looking watch. I'm about to pull the trigger on my first Rolex. I've been lurking and reading here for a while and I think this or the 14060 is going to be it. Can I ask you the size of your wrist? I know 40mm is small by today's standards but that watch looks great on you.
