Bozeman USS Montana
I got a call to look at some watches today from a local jeweler who purchases a lot of trade-ins from their retail customers. One of the watches was a Bozeman, a brand I am not very familiar with. I've heard the name before and I know they carry high retail prices but that's about the extent of my knowledge with them.
Upon close inspection, the quality was lacking. The blue enamel on the dial was very messy under 10x magnification. The Bozeman website does state the enamel is "hand applied". Despite having no date on the dial, the #2 position was definitely quicksetting a calendar wheel. This seems odd for an allegedly COSC chronometer. Any thoughts? |

It seems this same watch (with same serial number) was listed for sale by a TRF member last year. I will check with him and see if he can shed any light on the watch.
