Is this the real deal?
Does this Tudor Sub look like the real deal?
Info from seller goes along the lines of... Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner stainless steel men's divers watch, cicra. 1965, ref.no. is 7928, Case = stainless steel mid case is overall clean with some wear & scratches, numbers on both sides are clearly visable, not much been polished with original bevealing still visable on the lugs Caseback = caseback has some wear, no rust or corrosion, all factory inscription is clearly visable, screw thread is nice & crisp Crystal = acrylic crystal is clean without any wear Dial = Tudor signed glossy finish dial with gilt writing has been restored in the past, all luminous marker is in an even yellowish patina, all writing is clean and visable, signed "swiss" at the bottom Hands = tritium gold hands are in good condition without any wear, in matching yellowish patina Bezel = bezel is in good condition with some minor wear, turn bi-directionally Movement = Tudor signed Cal. 390 automatic movement is in good running condition; not recently timed, regulated, or pressure tested; not guarantee for waterproof or accuracy Winding crown = original Rolex signed screw down winding crown works well, can wind and set time Band = comes with a Rolex folded oyster bracelet 7836 in clean and tight condition, in 13 links, about 16 cm long This is a getting rare and yet still under value vintage sport Rolex / Tudor watch. |

crown guards should be more "pointy"
movement looks correct,can you get the serial number? any pictures of the inside caseback? |

5xxxxx serial should already have a round crown guard .... you may be able to find pointy crown guard at 3xxxxx to 4xxxxx serial only ....

According to my database, the case of 7928 in general have 3 types as follows :
30xxxx serial ~ square crown guard 30xxxx to 4xxxxx serial ~ pointy crown guard 4xxxxxx and onward ~ round crown guard Also, the year stamp of the pointy crown guard inside case back should be no later than 63 .... |

I agree. With MoneyGram he can disappear with your money and you will never see a watch. This would make my crap detector go off in an instant.
