Original Dial for 18038 7XXXXXX Day Date President
I want to be replace the Dial on my newly acquired rolex day date to the era for this newly acquired 18038 Serial Number 726XXXX Day Date President.
Current Dial is not original or has been refinished and diamonds have been added (thanks for helping me see this in previous post) Seeking out expert advice on what factory dials were being put on the 18038 Day Date model in 1981? Is there any documents out there giving this information? I can't seem to find it. I personally want a white roman numeral dial on it. Would that be original to the year? Also there are 2 different white roman numeral dials out there with gold roman numerals that Ive seen which one would be original to the year? Thank you so much for your help. Here are some pictures of dial and band. |

Though I am leaning toward a white roman numeral dial or a pyramid roman numeral dial... what would be original to the model and year and I'm open to suggestions on a beautiful combination.

Many of us have the traditional champagne or gold dial with sticks, you cannot go wrong with this as it is very classic..... Probably an original dial that can also be found.
