What happens when you turn the clasp around?
I have an Explorer and a 7" wrist. As a result, I have removed one link from the 6 o'clock side and have the micro adjustment at its longest point.
I find the watch is sometimes rotated further away from me than I would prefer. What difference does reversing the direction of the clasp make to how the watch wears? |

I have been doing the same thing on the same watch for years. It makes the watch sit a little better on my particular wrist. No difference otherwise.

Same dilemma here and was considering cutting off one of the permanent links on the 6 o'clock side to help 'center up' the clasp. Can anyone post a picture of what the result looks like? The only alternative I can think of would be to have the bracelet guru (Michael?) make one of the permanent links removable, if that's even possible.

Old trick that works fine for some people. IMO it's something absurd considering the price they ask for their products. I'm a member of the chicken wrists club as well and from now on I have no intention to get any watch without the glidelock clasp. But of course that's just me.

I reversed the clasp on my black bay as well, because in the default configuration, the case slides ever so slightly away from me, and removing a line on the 6 o'clock side shifts it down too much.
Looks a little weird to people who are observant. and takes some getting used to when you are putting the watch on or removing it...but what the hell it works. |

Which explorer is that. The old bracelet have a longer 6pm due to the clasp design, 4 perm links and one end link to clasp at minimum.
If it's the new 6 digits watch I suggest you play around the removable link at both 12 and 6 or do a clasp reverse for a couple of weeks before deciding to remove perm links. Indivdivuals are different in wrist bone structure so what works for others may not be best for you. |
