Rolex Pocket Watch: Real or Fake?
Hi folks, I'm new to the world of Rolex's but have inherited my Great Grandfathers Rolex pocket watch and would like to make sure that is authentic and was wondering if you good people could help me out.
First off the hallmarks I believe show it to be imported silver (oval .925 mark) from the Glasgow assay office (pair of horizontal F's) with a date mark of 1924 (lower case b). Can anyone confirm if I've gotten this right? Secondly the Rolex markings, it shows the R.W.C.LTD inside an oval at the top with ROLEX 7 WORLDS RECORDS GOLD METAL GENEVA-SUISSE underneath. Below this there is a serial number of 50133. Some links to pictures below but does this sound genuine or is there anything obvious that stands out as fake? Many thanks in advance Mat |

Very cool. I have my grandfathers old railroad Pocketwatch as well. That one is a beauty. Does it run?

Hello there, I am thinking to buy the same one as pictured above, from a private seller.
My concerns are regarding the dial - it`s unbranded, which I am not sure whether it`s original or not, and the serial number is the same like here - 50133. Or this is the model actually? Many thanks in advance. Dimitar |
