U.S. Vs other places
What are the benefits of having a U.S. Registered watch? I was curious why people charge less for non us stamped cards. Why is this?

In my opinion there is absolutely no benefit or caveat for that matter. I've owned many Rolex watches with US, Canadian and European. Warranty is international so who cares.

Personal preference. When I bought my Hulk through a trusted seller here I specified that I wanted a watch sourced from a US dealer so warranty card and all booklets were in English. Yes, the warranty is international, so some folks don't care where their watch originated. It just gave myself a little more peace of mind, IMO

But it for sure cost more if you want a U.S. One. I only knew one reason. Wasn't sure of any others

I've never heard of anybody asking more for a US watch vs any other, I sure wouldn't pay a premium.. the watches are identical..

Assuming you live in the US, If you purchase a watch that is preowned but still within the warranty period, the warranty transfer is easier if the originally AD is in the US. If not, RSC is more likely to ask for a bill of sale, original receipts, etc.
I'm sure someone will chime in and announce that they had no such issues and im sure experiences will vary, but this was information given to me at RSC NY. |

RSC NY can't otherwise judge authenticity? Seems strange. The warranty is global after all.... Would they refuse service without the receipt? |

My guess is that, although the warranty supposedly follows the watch, they probably do not have the automatic system in place to "follow the watch" if the watch originates abroad. Again, I'm really not sure and im sure everyone will have different experiences but it is something to keep in mind of purchasing a preowned "under warranty" watch from outside the U.S. |

Don't they all come with English booklets, regardless of area of purchase?
