I like it! Though sporty the colors work well in formal attire....hard to beat black and white.

Works fine! It looks great. Having cuffs that accommodate it makes a big difference in comfort and looks too.

I'm the young fogey who'll say it still isn't formal by any metric. That said, the slimmer case gives it a lot more versatility for dressiness than the current Submariner and GMT Master.

As for wearing with a suit, I think even those can be appropriate if the suit is something sporty like a heavy tweed or summery like linen.

By the way, I'm not saying that the fact that it's informal is inherently bad. In fact the contrast can work in a fun way like wearing tan brogues with a dressy suit or some such.

If you get "dressed up" and your SDc doesn't look good, then you're way to dressy!

Looks great!

Aye aye.

Unfortunately the diver/suit combination is often done with the watch hanging loosely at the end of the wrist, thanks to Hollywood.

Looks great! Especially compared to all the gshocks and other digital watches I see guys in suits wearing. I'll take a rolex sport any day of the week over those.

Excellent combo

Agree,
I cringe everytime I see my fellow males with a rubber watch and suit...
AS well as white tube socks and dress shoes

I love my 1665 with a suit
