I had a conference call today, that I had to be on time for. I stepped away from my computer for a bit, and needed to know what time it was. I looked at my Rolex, and it told me the time!!! So often, I just stare at my watches, and afterwards, I didn't remember what time it was. But a quick glance gave me the time - amazing how they look so good and yet keep good time too!

Sorry, I think this is another one of those hype threads started by Rolex to sell more watches. Of course they don't tell the time! Don't you think I would have noticed this by now?

I have looked down plenty of times to see what time it was, admired it, scanned it for sratches, looked for fingerprints and dust then looked away without even looking at the time

I hear you. I get so used to my DD that I forget what day it is when not wearing it. Today I have my Air King on and have no clue what day it is. However it is currently 1:09 pm EST.

The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once (Einstein). So....the only reason to wear a Rolex is to simply enjoy life, every minute of it

$500,000 Rolex that does NOT tell time
So if Rolex introduced a $500k watch that did NOT tell time (well maybe just day or night for instance...) members of TRF would be running to their respective AD's to get on the list!!!
Sign me up.....as long as it is offered in YG! ![]()

Indeed, what a novel idea! These things on our wrists are so versatile, aren't they?

My watches tell me the time, in fact if I was wearing two of them at once, it would tell me the time in four different places around the world.
![]() ![]() I know that feeling all too well David. ![]()
