GMT master11
Just looking into getting another Rolex and looking at a GMT master 11 probably going 2nd hand, what's the difference if any from one that's 7years old and 14 years old?

A lot. Around 2006, the GMT was issued in black ceramic bezel among other changes. The coke/pepsi/black options wit the aluminum bezel were discontinued.
I am sure a quick google search of Rolex GMT Master history will provide plenty of reading. Good luck |

Also, if I'm not mistaken somewhere around the early 2000's the 16710 got solid end links and lost the lug holes. Someone will know exactly when.
But as mentioned, the big change was around 2007 when the stainless 16710 was replaced by the new stainless 116710 ceramic bezel model.

Welcome to the forum Priv, (from someone not a million miles from you) although I see you have been lurking awhile. As stated above, there have been huge changes. I would recommend a ceramic bezel unless you like a deal of "patina" on your wrist. Me? I like pristine, and that ceramic bezel is (almost) bullet proof.

The new ceramic bezel always looks "wet" and is well worth the upgrade
