Advice needed for Carl F Bucherer purchase

Hi guys couple of days back i was going to buy an omega po chrono but while trying i laid my eyes on something else and decide to cancel the purchase and go for some other brand , below are the pics of one brand that i am interested at the moment and that is Carl f bucherer patravi chronodate model
Now what i want to know is that how good is the carl f b brand , are the watches reliable and is it worth the money they are asking
Sorry for the crappy iphone pics as i am not good the photography, forgot to take a caseback pic which is a seethrough but its not that great to look at just normal imo
Kindly advice guys should i buy this watch or look for something else

Padi edit

Your pictures were a crazy size for forum use the recommended is size around 900X900 I have re-sized one picture if you want to post others keep them to the forum size rules.

I'll let the more knowledgable folks chine in re quality

Aesthetically I find the cfb more pleasing than the Omega. The Omega is very sporty and I've seen many out there.. First I see this CFB and I find it's a classier watch yet sporty. Again, just MY personal opinion.

Let us know what you decide

Get the Bucherer – they're like Wempe, started out as a reseller before making their own brand of watches in small numbers.
I love the Patravi Scubatec, and would sooner opt for that than the usual models from Rolex/Omega/IWC, although on looks alone, the Aquatimer would make it a hard call.

What sort of money are they asking for the Bucherer?
How does it compare with prices for the same on chrono24.com?

Thanks for chiming in bro ,the price is a little more than at chrono 24 lets say 400-500 usd
The iwc pilot chrono is also an option but the carl f looks more elegant then the iwc imho, another thing is the iwc has 7750 and carl f b has 2892 with DD module , which one is more reliable or are they at par with not much difference

DD are the module and chrono kings, from what I understand – so afaic, it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Not sure what difference there might be on servicing costs, but that's something you'll only need to worry about in 5 years or more from now.
On that basis, I'd prefer that timeframe to be spent enjoying and looking at the nicer of the two.

About 18 months ago, I was almost ready to purchase the Bucherer until I investigated resale values. The salesman said it that was an issue to stay with Rolex. You need to buy it right so if you decide to sell, you won't be disappointed.

I'm a fan of CFB. The scubatec is fantastic. Just make sure you buy it right.
