The Rolex Bug...

I thought all of you were full of it, talking about one watch not being enough. I figured I'd be more than happy with one, and I am, but I wake up thinking about my next one...

I barely got past justifying my first purchase to my wife, imagine the second.

What excuses does the TRF tell their wives?

You see I was lucky enough to have gotten the bug before getting married.
Safe to say I am not getting married for a long long time!
More money being shared means less watches for me!

I'm in the same boat and will stay there if they keep calling me a materialistic ass because of my Rolexes. Yes, that was the reason because it was specifically pointed out. Oh well, on to the next one.

I feel like that on my way home from buying it every time. Once the hunt is over I get remorseful. You gotta either keep on adding......or keep on flipping!

What is the reason behind this need for another Rolex watch? I am perfectly happy with one TV, one car, one pair of glasses, one wife...

I, like you, am also happy with one TV, maybe more than one car, one pair of glasses, one wife.

But one watch? I don't know about that...

Would you be happy with just one tie, one shirt, or just one pair of socks too?

We don't tell the wives. They think they all look the same, so we just tell them it's the same one.

Are you tracking her purses and shoes?

I think she'd prefer 8k worth of make up rather than a Rolex!

Have to have at least two. If one goes in for service how would you know what time it is.

Tell her it's the same watch and that she never listens to you or pays attention, just everything she says to you basically.

What do I tell my wife? Nothing. I bought her a Mercedes, so I figure I'm good for another acquisition or two.

If you think Rolexes are bad, try collecting guitars. A little harder to keep inconspicuous. Watches, mine knows I have a bunch just not what they are. I believe she still thinks I have Invictas.

Helpful Rolex Math Equation

The final formula for the exact amount of Rolex watches you need to have

N + 1

where N is the number of Rolex watches you currently have
