INCOMING!! - The amazing new Offshore Ceramic Anthracite dial!!

Hi Guys,

Extremely pleased with my new obsession... the super cool, super sexy AP ROO Ceramic with Anthracite dial.
This is a watch I have been drooling over ever since I first saw the release pictures back in 2014. The pricing though always left me debating whether I should go for RG instead. Anyways, I am so glad I went with my heart cause this watch is not only beautiful to look at, but is also extremely comfortable to wear as a daily.
I have already owned the SS 44, FC 44 and the ceramic diver earlier and the finish on the ceramic casing is impeccable, but what really gets me about this watch is the quality of the dial which in my modest opinion has to be one of the best out there.
I will let the pictures do the talking.

Cheers,
Abner

Superb.
AP really nailed the dial with that one.
With the right shade and material, you could really have fun swapping straps to give it a different look/feel.
I'm thinking suede/alcantara with red stitching, and a fairly matte plain leather (rather than patterned) with black stitching – accentuating but not drawing attention away from the main focal point, the dial.

Thanks PJ... I think the original black rubber suits it well but am also thinking about getting another strap just to add some more variety.
Thinking of maybe a grey hornback with red stitching or the GP Alacantra strap.

I feel the hornback would draw attention to itself and away from the watch.
A strap should accentuate or compliment the watch design.
A fairly plain looking formal dress 3-hander uses a patterned croc strap to add a bit of visual pizzazz, otherwise it'd all look rather staid.
Adding a hornback and patterned strap to yours, would create too much visually.
Some people like that, but for me, most times, less is more – although there's no reason you can't have both, to go with what sort of mood you're in at the time.

A grey rubber may look quite nice to compliment that beautiful dial 😄
