Antiquorum September 30 th .

Looks like Panerai is going to take a beating again !! Prices are very low and just make it worse for the secondary markets .

Not sure what you are looking at but there are only a handful of Panerai and none of which are popular or strong references. Also if you follow Antiquorum auctions you know they always set estimates far below market. I think I saw 5 Panerai though in catalogue and again all pieces most of us here would never own.

Correct ! i own a few , but still Panerai has already taken a beating IMHO , i think this is no different . You know last year i posted the same about Tudor after i bought one for my 46th birthday . And everyone here told me it would hold it's value !!!!!! i sold it and made more money last year rather than selling it this year. It is the truth Pam's are taking a beating.....

As I said this auction has zero bearing on Panerai and value. It features a few non popular references. Like any watch company each reference and demand for references are quite different and vary. To generalize that this auction shows Panerai taking a beating is plain silly IMHO. There are plenty of solid Panerai's one can buy and also one's one shouldn't buy. One needs to do their homework when buying a watch so they buy the right watch and for the right price.
