Battle damage on a Submariner

They might be tough as old boots, but my Sub has obviously taken a knock on a door frame or something similar recently.

The protruding dot on the bezel has been cracked in two places!

I'm not too precious about the watch picking up the odd knock as it's there to be worn and this adds to its character. I do feel sorry for the door frame though, being hit with a Submariner.

Good attitude to take

The pearl can be replaced whenever you like, or just left until service time.

Easy to replace by RSC from what I understand, you do have the right attitude about it though!

"Battle damage?" That's just sad. I love how being clumsy adds character to your dive watch. You can tell people it was the result of an emergency ascent during the "Getting a Beer out of the Fridge Expedition" of '15.

I now assume that you're one of the Rolex wearers who wraps their watch in cotton wool and gazes fondly at it from a distance while crying over the slightest scratch.

It's a watch - get over it.

After having my Sub for 6 months I've already managed to scratch the crystal, and put a new marks on the case. I couldn't sleep for a while but Ive gotten over it.

Great attitude toward using your Rolex. I'd wait and have it replaced at service as mentioned above.

Get a new pearl before it cracks more and starts to fall out. Every Rolex should get the respect they deserve!
