Panerai is a little better than Rolex. Not sure about Omega....Seiko is the best

the sandwich dial is awesome!! just got out of the theatre, and i could read it the entire time we where there.

I used to own 6 Rolexes,I now own 4 PAMs.I couldnt be happier !!!

The lume on PAMs beat Rolex.

I agree the sandwich dial is fantastic.
However, the watches are luminova and so they do need a good charge before going into darkness

Hmmm,painted vs sandwich.I have two with painted dials and two with sandwich dials. Both have great lume,would say about equal.I prefer the sandwich,by a narrow margin,just that more depth to the look.

Panerai lum is much better than Rolex and about the same as Omega.

I would have to disagree somewhat.

My first Rolex was a SD and I was extremely disappointed w/ the lume compared to my Omega SMP - and so if that was my only experience I would have completely agreed with you.

But after owning an LV and currently using a DSSD every night, I think Rolex has finally gotten their lume up to the standard of the rest of their watch. Maxi-dials rock if you care about lume! Cheers.
