First AP, and I couldn't be happier!

Hi Everyone,

I've been a long-time Rolex and Panerai Owner, but today I became an even happier AP Owner...suddenly the stars have aligned, and the right 26300 for me just happened to show up in the hands of DavidSW. As most of you know, David's timepieces are always immaculate, to say the least. Excellent guy, highly recommended to do business with.

And, when I say that the stars have aligned, I really mean it, since I live about 40 mins from DavidSW offices, and 1 hour from AP newly established Customer Service Center, in Clearwater FL...what more motivation could I ask for to pull the trigger!!!...Oh yes, there is another piece of motivation: This 26300 was originally purchased from an AP Boutique in 05/2015...which gives it plenty of warranty!

Today, I grabbed my Daytona, drove my 40 mins, met with DavidSW, unhesitantly traded in my watch (plus $$$),...and I am now the happy owner of this bad boy:

Congrats, I traded my Daytona for an AP almost 4 months ago - you won't regret it.

Congrats buddy and welcome to AP.
Be careful, if you have other brand's models, you'll probably trade them all for new APs

Congrats! Love that dial color combo!

I'm glad I live on the other side of the country. If I was that close to David and APSC I would be homeless with an amazing AP collection.

Great story and certainly you were getting some clear signs that this was the one. I too swapped a Rolex for AP and still love the move.

How does it wear compared to the Daytona? Does it feel bigger or smaller?
I know the Daytona is 40mm and the 26300 is 39mm but that can be deceiving.

They both feel the same to me. Personally, even though the 26300 is 39mm, its extended lugs make it easily a 40mm.

But, more importantly, the 26300 details in the bracelet, case, dial...they are simply second to none. My Daytona did not have a chance...
