My First Rolex - 216570

Couple of pics of my 216570. Simply love it. Pic does not do the engraving justice.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm a Scot, living in Adelaide and had it engraved by Ray from londonengraver.com who is also based in Adelaide. Fully hand engraved and the quality of his work is breathtaking.

The watch was bought with money gifted from my parents and the engraving is designed to mark that and my heritage. I love the result.

Here's another pic:

Very nice. The engraving looks great and impressive that it is all done by hand. A nice touch to help remember home.

The engraving looks great! I always wanted to take a "donor" Rolex and have the entire watch engraved. Your engravers work is top-notch!

That is wonderful. I know most here don't really customize their watches for fear of devaluing them, purity, etc but that is just nice. I'd love to have something like it done myself.

very nice Your parents are awesome too

I was in Scotland in 1986 when I was a wee lad Absolutely beautiful place and the people were outstanding. I still remember the purple thistle and the boats grounded in Galway Bay.

Sorry, was reminiscing haha. Congrats on a beautiful and now unique piece.

Is that first pic in B&W? I think you could be on to something. An explorer II with a deep grey 24 hour hand would be sweet. I think the black, white and grey would work well together.
Nice engraving too. Well done!

Beautiful watch and speaking as a Scot living next to Ben Nevis, magnificent coat of arms. Superb work for freehand, a very talented guy. Thanks for posting.
Cheers
