Platty's unerring accuracy will put a Thermo-compensated Quartz to shame!!
That's right......Rolex must have done something right when they assembled the amazing 3135 movement they threw into my Platty.
It's ZERO DEVIATION accuracy, day in and day out has left me gobsmacked. I truly wonder at the magic of the 3135 movment that lies buried inside this beauty!!

Great picture, as usual, JJ .
How many seconds does Platty lose/gain over a week?

Steady, JJ - I nearly choked on my lager .
Surely Platty can't be that accurate - it must be a few seconds adrift a month, at least. Unless, of course NZ sets their National Time by your watch !!!

I heard that all of New Zealand drifts a little bit, so maybe JJ didn't notice.

It is possible to have a zero deviation accuracy. I have got three mechanic watches now that are spot on and in the past I have had a Datejust and a Daytona both were the same. It is a matter of luck how the watch is set and regulated, but you can ask RSC to regulate again and again to get it right.

Accuracy
I'm impressed with my Sub date's accuracy. It IS more accurate than my old Gucci Quartz movement!

BS.......pure and simple.
And to think, those dummys spent all that money on an atomic clock when they could have just bought a platty

Hey JJ, before you blow a sheep, I mean gasket.
Have you ever done the stem up, stem down thing at night to see if it really has any effect?

Only thing I wonder is to what clock you compared it cause there's probably no sutch thing as 0 deviation or is the watch just not running and you just check it everyday at a quarter and 10seconds too two;-)

Just tune into any local AM station which gives off 6 signal beeps on the hour, every hour. These beeps are synchronised with our atomic clock in our capital city, Wellington. Yes, I know this 'cause I phoned those buggers and got all the info off them. The 6th beep sounds when the second hand touches '12' exact. And that's dead-on...like this!!
