Rolex Spider 16800
Hi
I have found this Rolex 16800 from 1989 with a slight Spiderdial (see the high res photos). Could someone politely confirm the authenticity for me by looking at the photos? I am almost certain it is geniune, but I won't know until I open it up. Many many thanks |

It's a weird one. I would not call it spider dial. Likely genuine though.

One more detail: the endliks are *very* worn. Not expensive to replace.

...more like water damage than varnish / paint cracking [/QUOTE] Agreed, spider dials usually look like shattered glass. Pic lifted from the interwebs: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That dial just looks a bit of a mess.

^^^ agreed!
Rhetorically speaking, why would you want a damaged, un-fixable dial, that people will constantly ask "What happened to your dial?", over a smooth, shiny, un-damaged one? And for a watch not that old, the latter is very attainable. |

The spider dial is more like a cracking dial, I have seen the dial in person and does look unique and you can only see the crack under certain angle. Yours don't look like spider dial IMO.
