Bezel too tight -- on a SEIKO
This is one of the watches I have. Its bezel rotates but takes a heck of a lot of effort...but underwater, it is much much easier. Any suggestions any one can give me on how to fix it at home? Any home remedies?? I know I can always take it to a seiko dealer but I wanna try something cheap at home...also I do not know how to take the bezel off ....

I would put it in your drawer and wear your Sea-Dweller......it can't be fixed. ;)

I have an Invicta Pro Diver that had the same problem. After some google research, I tried using olive oil as suggested by someone on a forum. It worked great. I put a little olive oil around the bottom edge of the bezel and rotated the bezel until it was smooth and easy to rotate. Afterwards, I used soap and water to remove any oil residue, and it continues to rotate freely. Apparently the olive oil is less likely to harm plastic parts than something like WD40.

You should expect answers like this asking about a Seiko on a Rolex forum!

Maybe Chip ("SLRdude") can help you out. He knows a lot about Seiko's - and watches in general.
