Help me decide on my next INCOMING!

In my never ending hunt for the next watch, I've decided on picking up a SS Rolex with some color and could use some opinions! I'm currently looking at adding either a 116610LV or 116710 BLNR. I've tried on both watches and love some things about each of them. The green dial on the LV is a true chameleon and I love how it can change colors from almost black to a glimmering green. The BLNR has that beautiful black/blue on the bezel that looks amazing as well. What would you do that doesn't involve a double incoming?? Both watches are technically redundant in function to my existing collection, but I'm at a crossroads of which direction to go.

Current Rotation:
SubC ND
GMT II Pepsi (16710)
Daytona White

What do you think? Hulk or Batman?

Maybe time to buy another brand for the rotation?

You have a bunch of sports models (all great BTW), curious if you've thought about something to offset the 3 Rolex?

But if staying with Rolex, do something different from GMT or Sub.

Help me decide on my next INCOMING!

You already have a GMT and a Sub, I would go for an Explorer II Polar, or a Tudor, Pelagos Blue or Black Bay Any color.

I think I would either do this, or go the gold sub/gmt route.

Seeing that you already have three sports models, I would consider a Datejust.

You seem to be missing an Explorer in that collection.

Not redundant at all, one has a GMT complication, so there is room for both in my option. However, since that's not an option for you, it would depend on personal preference. I have the BLNR incoming, and tbh it was the same dilemma pretty much. I went with the GMT because I don't have a watch with that feature, and since I already have a DeepSea, the GMT was a no brained in the end. Good luck with you decision!

If you don't have formal or dress up watch, maybe the ExpI is a good versatile watch that can fill in for this situation. Otherwise if you want to stay the course, go with the suggestion of going with the color you don't have.

BTW Go Dubs!

I'd go with the BLNR before the LV. I agree the EXP II is a good option for adding color. To me the 16710 beats the BLNR so again I would at least consider the EXP II in either white or black dial. I recently added black dial.Name: image.jpg

I'll go with another brand since you have Rolex well covered (Panerai :D ) but if you want to add another Rolex, I'll go for Hulk.

I would go with either a Polar Explorer II or the Hulk. Both are great watches.

If it were my decision, I would purchase the BNLR. I would also state that you need to pick the number 1 on your list and slightly ignore our opinions. It's for your enjoyment!

if there are only this two watches in discussion, i perfer the Hulk for sure.

I have the Hulk and the all black GMTc, but i love to wear the hulk. the polish centerlinks looks dirty all day long with fingerprints.

But it your decision. Dont buy a Datejust, if you like sport models. i have a lot of Sporty, but not one Datejust - i spimply dont like these. only for change, is it not the right way.

hope that helps...

Stefan :)

Congrats on pulling the trigger!!!

I like how the dial changes depending on lighting conditions. Almost like having different dials. I hear no other model pulls that off like the Hulk.
