AP 15305 vs 15407 Openworked which one?

Assuming you like the skeletonized model..I am interested in hearing which one you would select. Each might have a favorite gold vs steel but lets leave this out of the equation as both come in gold and steel The pluses and minuses of each.. as I see it

New release 15407 vs current soon to be retired 15305
41mm vs 39mm -

15407- second balance wheel- perhaps more accurate, less power reserve, appearance of the gold color of this addition --- more contrast to skeleton but less symmetry and perhaps distracting to rest of dial?

15407 better contrast of hands-time tick marks

15407 higher cost

41 hands down. But then I'm biased as I've ordered one already as you've seen in the other thread.

I like the larger 41mm size of the 15407 but I DO NOT like the gold color of the balance bridge because it throws off the symmetry of the dial. I also don't like the screw heads that retain the balance bridge. I don't know if the dual balance wheels really offer much benefit and since they are on the same axis you don't get the wow factor of other dual balance wheel watches.

I would like to know the production numbers of the 15305. They seemed decently hard to come by and only had a 5 year production run.

I think a 41mm RG On bracelet with the 15305 style movement would be my favorite.

Same here for the balance bridge, it's kinda off IMO...

I am torn. I actually liked the gold bridge and now that you mention it-- it is not the asymmetry but the fact it does draw away from the rest of the piece. I had been looking for the 39mm until the new model was released and now i don't know what to do.. Not that I can find any 39mm in stock anywhere

The bridge is a nice touch. It makes the dial pop IMHO. Makes the 39 look pale in comparison.

It'd take much more than a gold bridge to draw the attention away from the rest of the watch. I can't wait to see it in person.

15305 for me. I wasn't elated with the size of my 15400 and I loved the 15305 when I tried it at bal harbour. I'd be happy with either though!

Difficult to choose between these SS models. But for me the nicest skeletonized RO is the 39mm RG model on strap.

I prefer the 39mm size, but both watches are superb
