Icon7 Rolex Masterpiece ?

I inherited a Rolex named presidential pearl masterpiece ?
It has a masterpiece 18k white gold band pearl face day date
It is stamped on one side Stainless steel F644286 and on other side Orig desing 18946 Yes desing not design and the 6 is not even with the 1894
Front of case is same color as band looks like 18k white gold
Day date pearl face says oyster perpetual day-date .
Watch looks exactly like the platinum pearlmaster
Has anybody seen this before ?

A real 18946 (and any Rolex ending in 6) is platinum. It should not say 18k, stainless steel, or "desing" anywhere. Pics would help but it sounds very fake, sorry.

Why would someone stamp a stainless steel base and then stamp a platinum Rolex model number on same watch if its fake ?
Doesn't make sense. I even had a guy that services Rolexes clean it for me

Probably because the counterfeiter bought a fake case with "Stainless Steel" written on it and decided to turn it into this. The Rolex factory did not stamp "stainless steel" on a watch that was never made in steel, misspell the word "design," and for some reason scribble the last digit of the model number.

He made a few bucks. The watch is not of Rolex manufacture.

This is hilarious. We don't even need to see the photos.

Op, Apply logic for just one second. Does any of that you describe sound logical for a high end watch brand?

Do you even need to ask?

Lol. Sorry OP but this did make me laugh. For some reason fakes seem to have misspellings on them quite frequently.

Oh my. I just come here for entertainment and know nothing. Even to me that screams horrible fake. Just needs some chrome flaking off the case to be worse

Seems like the people that inherit all these watches must have not been loved by the ones that passed lol. Total junk

Rolex Masterpiece ?

Awesome. They misspelled "design" and the "6" in the model # tripped and is in the process of falling off the case.
Sorry for the bad luck...

1st rule of fight club, if you inherit a Rolex it's fake
2nd rule rule of fight club, if you inherit a Rolex and try to authenticate it on trf it's def fake

I don't know jack bout Rollie's and that's a fake!

Icon13 Masterpiece

for Fjweld

for your comment about " I've had other Rolexes
band is definitely real " Oh Jeez? I love these guys
Its not necessary to be rude

yes the band is real and attached is a photo
Naples has the most millionaires per capita
in the world so its not unusual for our local flea market
to have numerous jewelry dealers selling Rolexes
( real ones ).

I took my wifes Rolex to a jeweler that
works weekends at flea mkt to clean it.
He had 15 used Rolexes ( real ) for sale there.

Anybody know what a platinum band has stamped on it ?
Do they just stamp platinum or use a number ?

He saw my fake Rolex and cleaned it for me
He didn't notice that it was fake
because he didn't take it apart to see numbers
He services Rolexes also.

I showed watch to 3 other jewelers
and they didn't know it was fake
When I took band off I noticed the numbers
and thought I would ask the forum.

I appreciate the good replies

Actually, I used the word inherit.
I meant to say acquired.
I bought the watch from Ebay
which has a great return policy
So they did not make a few bucks on me Alcan

Cryten I have heard of manufacturers making mistakes
and since Rolex is hand made ? The guys hand could have slipped
when stamping the 6 ? Is that not possible ?
Maybe he had a hangover ?

back no chrome is flaking
its the best looking fake I have seen
I can get my money back $4000 from Ebay
But an 18k white gold band like new, is worth a lot
2 carat diamond bezel and pearl diamond dial is worth a lot
if real
Not sure why they put a real 18k masterpiece band on a fake ?
Seems like it would all be fake but band definitely real
I understand watch base is a fake but still a mystery
