Why do you need to see the time all night? I tend to sleep with my eyes shut

I can't wear a watch in bed in case I either scratch myself or my wife up. With my D-Blue, I'd be more worried about knocking one of us out.

Do you wear a watch when you take a shower? Is it safe to wear your beater when you sleep with your wife?

I take mine off when I'm on my computer. Or working on something, either a car/bike/woodworking.

Other than that, it stays on.

I own a few nice watches that aren't a Rolex. Like a vintage Seiko, and a few other vintage pieces. And a G-Shock. But my BLNR is getting the most wrist time. Mostly because it's more comfy than any other watch I own.

Only time I take mine off is when I swap watches!!!!

Shower time is the excuse to clean them!!

Actually wore my Deepsea last night. Never thought about the dangers of clonking the wife or demolishing my bedside cabinet :)

To answer your original Q, I take my watch off when I go to bed. Mainly out of habit, but also to see if I can lose the 2 seconds my GMT IIc gains each day. I lie it crown up in a casebudi overnight, but it never seems to make a difference to the +2 it gains each day.

15 years I've had mine on. Only time I take it off is to switch to another one.

Only time I don't wear a watch is in bed or working on one of my motorbikes or cars. Other than that I feel naked without one.

Only take it off for welding, knocking up concrete, tinkering with the car ... that sort of thing

Never take watch off.....other than to scrub it with soft brush in the shower....or to swap to other one.
That's the biggest reason I wear Rolexes....
I'm always a bit surprised when I see so many threads on "Can I wear my watch while xxxx?"
I've worn my watches 100% of the time for 35 years and NEVER had a problem!
Eat, Sleep, Work, Play, Dive, Travel, Golf, Home Chores,.....All of it....

I don't wear a watch to bed unless I'm travelling. If I'm on the road it never leaves my wrist for anything. I'm afraid I'd forget it and end up leaving without it some day.

It always differs. Sometimes I will change to a different watch daily, and other times I will wear the same watch for a week or so without taking it off.
Good example is the beach....I will choose one watch to wear and it doesnt come off for 10 days.
I agree with the nigh time thing also....unless you sleep next to a big digital clock, its nice to be able to glance at the time without any real effort.

I put mine on in the morning before I leave the house to head to the office, and normally take it off right when I get home in the evening...repeat daily...
