Fake Rolex Datejust ii two tone - dial?
I just a new DJII two tone traded in and everything seems to be fine other than the dial. The LEC is there, the serials match with the card. overall weight and feel is good. However, when I compare the dial with other Datejust's online, I can't seem to find the same dial. I was wondering if the people here can give their opinions.
I can bring the watch to an RSC for an authentication but I would hate to have this watch opened needlessly as it's a 2015 watch. Thanks in advance! |

looks a little suspect to me --- the crown looks almost 'embossed' on the dial --- should be yellow gold --- and the writing on the dial looks a bit splotchy --- ROLEX has IMPECCABLE attention to detail...
...I agree with above --- more pics would really help ... but just my .02 |

Thanks everyone! It's the font that concerned and the only other DJ I have has a thinner "5" so thought I'd check with everyone here knowing the Rolex changes dials every so often.

There's are a lot of misconceptions about rolex watches that show up way too frequently.
- There is absolutely no reason to think that font should be consistent. Fonts can be all over the place. - someone said rolex has "impeccable attention to detail". This is wrong. They are just as good or bad as many other brands. - best not to pass judgements unless you are an expert. This DJII looks fine. It's a two tone with a champaign dial. Pretty standard for that configuration. As far as DJII models go, I always use this picture as an example of what is possible with a Rolex. Taken at the fifth Avenue boutique. - Zero consistency when it comes to magnification. - same exact model, but the dials are different. Check out the fonts. They aren't even remotely similar.
