Anytime you buy from anyone other that a "Trusted Seller" you'll experience some degree of anxiety.

He's a member since 2009. If he's a scammer- you must admire his 7 years of dedication to make $6500!

Jokes aside, what I'd do is ask questions, do some googling (as it seems you've done). and call the seller. Most would be happy to work out a transaction that feels safe to both you and themselves.
