Milgauss 116400 - I hated how we've drifted apart but then again and again...
This is the 4th time (no kidding) I purchase the Milgauss Black (non GV). Every time, I keep telling myself I will keep it. The Millie got most of the wrist time. We did everything together. We were happy. I love the simplicity and symmetrical dial. Most importantly, I LOVE the weight of the watch. But things turned south very quickly after a few months, when the PCLs start accumulating scratches, when I had to reach to my phone for the date. Naturally, Millie is returning to the watch box and just sadly sat there. One day, I took Millie out from the box, adjust the time and fully winded. Mille was happy again. Until I took Millie to see another man and I went home with another Rolex. I feel happy again. I do not know what happen to Millie after we parted. I thought I will not look back. Few months flew by, the sudden thought of Millie started to snowball. I missed Millie. I have to find Millie. I found Millie. I flipped Millie.
History keeps repeating itself. 1st time for a GMT II Pepsi, 2nd Time for a DSSD, 3rd Time for YM40. I ended up keeping all of them but I still sorely miss Millie. With the help of a Trusted Seller, I landed with a BNIB Non GV 116400. Perhaps with the NIB premium, and my name on the warranty card, I will at least think twice before flipping it. I hope this is the last time. |

Stick with it, watches are a better hobby than your username whichever one it is.

Done it 3x with a Black Bay, and guess what? I also want another one. Let me know if you find a decent therapist.

The black dial is a keeper. Mine gets the most wrist time by a lot.

If there is one modern Rolex i suspect could be worth a lot of money in 20 years it is this black dial only milgauss. Only having a 5 year run and being very unpopular. Keep it for that reason alone. Enjoy your milgauss :)

Welcome back (back) (back) (back)!
I really like the black dial version for the symmetry and style. |

Four posts in as many years; isn't that a bit on the overposting end of things? I hope that the Milgauss sticks this time; it's a really sweet watch. Hello from Plum Island btw.

All your other Rlx has date. Probably the problem is there. You need date! Try to buy a 114060 and see what happens...
Hope you will keep it now! |
