Would you....?
Trade preowned Rolex gmtc LN full set plus random serial 14060M full set for Brand New black dial SS Rolex Daytona
To sweeten the comp, this deal is straight from AD and not trusted seller, so cappucino and/or diet coke is an added bonus..:( Joking aside, deal is more than fair if not a "no brainer" from MONETARY perspective, no trusted seller could match it ever, however conceptually, I am struggling with it Is it worth it to give up two great SS references that I love for one great reference that I love and have been a fan of for some time now? Would I regret it after honeymoon period? What are your thoughts...Would you..? ( please refrain from Rolex singing and speaking comments.... Only iwatch can sing and speak). It just depends if you will love the 1 watch more than the 2.
I'm a big fan of less is more, personally. |

I'm not a huge Daytona fan myself. That's not a deal I would do. You have 2 great watches there. I'd reconsider....

Keep the GMT, trade Sub, and add cash for the Daytona.

I think if you were to remove the 14060 from the deal, and see how much you'd have to shell out then, you'll get a better idea of what the valuations for your watches are. It's probably monetarily a great offer, but going from two to one is hard in some people's eyes. For me, I'd rather have one great watch than two really nice watches.

I wouldn't but I am a Sub and GMT guy.
As for value of the trade, seems fair.

Personally I wouldn't. Also not a big fan of black dial Daytona but that's just me.

Speaking from experience...tho not traded for a Daytona ...you'll mis the simplicity and beauty of the 14060

Sell just one of your watches - either the Sub or the GMT - and get a white Daytona. That will give you a combo with maximum variety.

NO WAY
I am not a Daytona fan at all. Your GMT and Sub are great watches, don't let them go. Go buy a Speedy Pro if you want a chrono.

No. I would see the difference and save up. I think you may miss the other two for one watch.

Answers to these types of questions are often answered on the basis of how much the poster likes what the OP is giving up or getting.
I think that's totally subjective and really up to you and we can't decide for you. I agree with those that prefer one great piece to two good ones. But only you can decide which are merely good and which are great. Having said all that, if the dollars work in your favor, and you say they do, you could always add a less expensive watch (than the Daytona) back down the road if you "need" a second one. |

I'd do it unless you love the GMT and Sub. Alternatively, keep the Sub and bring some cash. Daytona, to me, is just a better all around watch.

No for me, unless you're dying for a Daytona and can't see another way

I would not. However, I'm known to add and not sell anything. Save and add the Daytona.
