Advice on 1680 insert

Could use a little help. I'm looking to replace my insert on my 1680 red with a fat font faded (ghost) insert. I was wondering if someone could help, by explaining which version to look for, mark 1, mark 2 ect...

I've been trying to research myself, but I'm finding a lot of conflicting info as to the correct one. My watch is a 71' with serial number 2.9 mil.

Thanks!
Jude

Looks like you currently have the correct MK3 insert.
I believe that is the correct one for the serial.

Thanks, so I have a mk 3 insert. Good to know. I guess I need to start looking for a faded mk 3.

So, the 1680 reds with the fatter font inserts are not the correct ones? Thanks

Just don't sell yours - particularly if that came with that watch

Here are some of MK3 faded inserts that I have.

Hard to get a good pic with the iPhone tonight.
Just hoarding them, sorry none for sale.

Just seen today 2 for sale on VRF, prices are becoming expensive.

I'd also love to get a proper ghosted insert for my Mark IV, but I also want to pickup a 91350 bracelet. Not sure which I should attempt to aquire first - but I think the cost of these gets me half way to another great Rolex hah.
