I recently saw a 116610LV while on a layover in Atlanta airport. I was in the train going to my terminal and spotted an oyster bracelet on a man's wrist. Upon closer inspection I realized it was a Sub but wow did the green dial just pop and make it look unique. It's an impressive looking watch.

My current line up is a SD4000 and 16710 GMT. I can't part with my SD, it's too perfect. My GMT is actually being serviced right now so what better time to flip when it comes back. Would it make sense to have 2 dive watches? I think the green color would be enough of a contrast. The GMT is a classic and not easy to part with. I do however love all the attributes of the modern ceramic sport models.

I have an SDc and have bought and sold the LVc twice. Make sure you are ok with the lugs after owning the SDc, the sub looks off. Imho.

Nothing wrong with two divers, the SDc and pelagos are staples for me.

Yes. Don't overthink having two divers. There are collectors with dozens of divers.

Multiple divers in a collection is great, but I concur that you might want to make sure you dig the lugs on the LVc after rocking the SD.

I have both and love each, but the SD4K is far and away my favorite piece. The dial on the LVc is captivating, IMO, and changes based on the way different lighting hits it. Plenty of room for the LVc and SD4K in one collection!

Keep the gmt... Let the sd go... But after a while as a LVc owner the dial starts to look a little bit cheap... Just my opinion..

I have both, I love both. If I had to let go of one the LV would survive.

The green is incredible and you're right it does POP! But under dim lights it flies under the radar and does not scream Rolex.

I have a DSSD, 116613, and a 14060. I must admit the 14060 doesn't get much wrist time.

It is a great watch for sure, although I have more recently craved after the black/blue ceramic GMT, so mine may have to go soon!

Many people on here have voiced concerns about the green being too bright, but in fact it is rather subtle and you do not need to match it with clothes or anything silly like that.

I've actually seen a few members on here modify the watch to do exactly that, by replacing the green dial with a black one.

Honestly though, the green dial is stunning in my opinion.

Really different shades of green depending on the lighting.

Why? The dial is what makes the 116610LV, it looks black half the time anyways. Give it some light though, particularly sunlight, and that is where it's beauty really shows.

Why? Haha, because I never liked the green dial.

2 divers no worries!

I currently have 2 submariners and heck I want to ad the SD4000 as well.

The 116610LV is simply a beautiful watch. You have a black dialed watch so that pop of color will be a welcome addition to your collection.

And one thing to note on outfit matching..... Hulk trumps anything I am wearing.

Nothing wrong with having two divers. The sunburst dials are a work of art.

It's a great watch and would be great to sit alongside your SDc.
I have an LVc but am actually considering a SDc as a black diver over a black SubC.
I think they would work very nicely in a collection.
