How to send in to RSC (Dallas): DSSD
Hi All,
How would you /what paperwork would be included if I send in my DSSD to RSC Dallas? Is a copy of the warranty card sufficient, pLus a description of the issue? For DSSD owners: My DSSD has a little "play" on the bezel. Meaning, when your winding the watch, and your thumb is on the bezel, and if you gently "pusH" there is a little gap in there and you can feel it clicking. If this isnt "normal", im sending it in. i also checked my Hulk, and because its a smaller case. its not as pronounced but the "play" , as LIttle as it is, is aklso there...so Im thinking its just a Rolex trademark ..:) thanks

Can't really tell by your pic. But everything you're describing is normal. Both my ceramic sub and DSSD do this. My vintage 1680 doesn't tho ;)

It is normal on both the DSSD and Sub that if you push down on the bezel there is a little give. More so on the DSSD. All is good.

All the ceramic inserts float on 3 spring loaded ball-bearings and a ball-bearing spring stop so there will be up and down play.

Same on my Hulk. There's a little bit of gap play for sure. Don't know about the DSSD, but seems to be normal based on the responses.

Your watch seems to be normal.
To answer your question, you need to send the watch and the original warranty card. If you choose to send a copy of the warranty card it needs to be copies of the front and back. In addition, you must then provide a copy of the bill of sale. (That's if you choose to send copies). If you call Dallas, they will email you the instructions. You can download the form to describe your issue. You have to use USPS Registered Mail and seal the package with brown mailing tape.

seems more hassle to send there. ALSO: i think this has been answered before. Warranty follows the watch, not the owner.

Thanks everyone...
I SHOULD have guessed that there should BE some give, considering how SMOOTH the bezel is when rotating...MUCH better than my Seamaster..:) with regards to bezel of course

Mine has some play too when applying a bit of pressure as shown in your thumb on bezel pic. Don't worry.
