Sales Promotion Photo
I have noticed that the time set on most sales promotion photo is 10:10.
What is the reason for that? Tradition, superstition........? |

I believe it was done for Symmetry and it also perfectly frames the brand on the dial face.

Use diagonals - one of the top tips in photo comp - it guides the viewer's eyes to the key point of interest. And in ads, that's the brand name or icon.
