Yellow vs white gold, which would you choose?

If you were to wear a yellow or white gold watch which would you choose and why? Perhaps you think one just looks better on you. Maybe you like the "Bling" factor of yellow gold or conversly how understated white gold can be.

Personally, as a young 28 yr old Caucasian man i find yellow gold looks out of place. Although sometimes i feel I would appreciate that extra eye candy!

In terms of 'looks'...I prefer yellow. That said, wearing yellow requires some age behind your belt. YMMV.

Love yellow gold, classy and always grabs a bit of attention. Plus everyone thinks WG is SS.

Love looking at YG off the wrist, but it's a no-go for me.. WG all the way. There is something special about WG as well and that is how under the radar it is..

For the next 30 years, white gold. After that, I can probably pull off yellow.

I find it very interesting that people associate the ability to wear yg with age. Personally im jealous of people with darker skin tones..they seem to be able to wear it easily!

white gold for me. you have to be able to rock the yellow, especially on a bracelet. i have a safe queen day date that has seen daylight on only a handful of occasions in 20 years.

I'd personally go with two tone.

If that's not an option, yellow gold.

WG, prefer its under the radar appearance.

YG looks absolutely gorgeous but I never felt comfortable wearing them (even though I have darker skin tone) ... just personal taste.

For Rolex (especially with a bracelet): White gold only.

A Patek or JLC I'd consider YG partly because of the rarity/cost of WG, but also because there's a lot less gold bezel.

Not everybody can pull off yellow gold I think.

White

Discreet, under the radar, less likely to attract attention. If you prefer being the opposite then YG is the right choice for you.
