Tiffany & Co Rolex

Hello everyone,

My friend is in need and he has offered to sell his Rolex to me. It is a two tone band, and gold color screen, Oyster Perpetual DateJust and that is marked Tiffany & Co. The watch has some scraches and a bit discoloration by rolex crown, ortherwise is fine. How much does it worth?

I appreciate all inputs

Thanks

The watch head looks good, but that Jubilee bracelet has some serious stretch.
It would be a guess on value as if the dial is genuine (and there are many fakes) it is worth a lot more.
If your friend has the original receipt for the watch from Tiffany as provenance the dial is genuine then I think approx up to $10,000, but without that then it is a standard Date-Just with a possibly refinished dial $2500-$3000.

Thank you for all the inputs.

He does not have any paper or box,..... but since I'm in Los Angeles and there is Tiffany & Co store here, would/could they be able to authenticate it for me?.... how can I verify that?

I don't think Tiffany can unless they keep records of Model/serial numbers of watches sold, if they do then they might be able to if they want to be helpful.
Cartier Dialed watches are marked on the case, but Tiffany watches aren't.

X2 Mark. Tiffany's record keeping is said to have not been the greatest, but it might be worth a shot.

Bring it to Rolex at Beverly Hills and it will authenticate the watch for you.

If you can find a watchmaker, he can remove the back of the case and confirm for you. Good luck.

These are VERY hard to verify without the original receipt it seems.

Sorry your friend didn't keep the paperwork, I keep everything from every
watch I buy....

My GF yells at me about all the boxes in my man room haha.
Good thing I just put a door on there with a biometric lock (its where my gun safes and knife collection is) so she doesnt need to go in there anymore haha...

I bought something recently from Tiffany's and I asked the man that helps me about Rolex and Tiffany. He said that the staff there at his store (South Coast) gets very excited when a Tiffany Rolex comes in for cleaning repair (I believe they just send it to the RSC and charge more) however, he said that it is really neat to see them come in and return. Tiffany recently signed a deal to carry Patek in New York. the South Coast store said that they expect to carry it also and will make Patek/Tiffany a focus point at the entrance of their store.

What does TRF think about owning a Tiffany/Patek?

Can see no greater value in it because it is a Tiffany. JMO.

Before you buy that watch, I would bring into the BH RSC and get a service estimate and factor that into the price. I would say mid 2K would be a good starting point. The bracelet looks as though it has a substantial amount of stretch, but still has some life left in it. This is tough, if your friend is not a collector he may feel its worth more when its really not.
