The watch is available locally -- but I saw a good price on TRF late last night, messaged the seller, and then a deal was done

North Flag on a bracelet

I remember trying one on in Central a few months ago. Built like a tank, good quality bracelet and design is pretty original.

My other candidate was an Explorer, since I wanted something that wouldn't show too much wear. Ultimately the power reserve, date and reasonable price point edged things in the North Flag's favor

Congrats! I agree the bracelet is the way to go- one of my favorite features of the watch; also love the size of the dial. Enjoy!

That's a great watch, been thinking about one myself and bracelet would be my choice too. I look forward to some wrist shots.

Congratulations! I personally LOVE the case and bracelet but I've always had an issue with yellow. Perhaps some childhood trauma ?

A little blue or green on the dial and I'd be all over this one!

Looking forward to the incoming.

Congrats Steve! We don't see enough NF incomings on here and I love the "saw one late last night and pounced" bit. Reminds me of what I do

Yup, those cans of Asahi from 7/11 that I drank during Game of Thrones last night ended up costing me a few grand

But it's just a harmless primary color

I really like the power reserve complication on this watch. Very unique and useful. To be honest I thought it crowded the dial at first but the idea very quickly grew on me.

Edit: oh, and a big congrats ! The bracelet looks way better in person. The watch does not photograph well.
