$375-$450 is the going rate based on condition. Anything north of that then you are in automatic pricing

That is an automatic.

Serviced I would say $400. But seller is from NYC. Everything is more expensive there. I doubt he has the room to sell for $400, let alone $300.

Both designs are self-winding watches.
The "bumper" or correct term "center weight" was invented for wristwatches by John Harwood in 1923.

Rolex invented the "rotor" design in 1933 (for wristwatches), these two and a third design were all used in pocket watches back in 1777 (Perrelet and Sarton)

Both Harwood and Rolex designs were winding only in one direction
