Tudor 9411/0

Hi Folks,

I have this Tudor 9411/0

What is it worth in the condition it’s in?

I hear a lot of horror stories about send the watch to Rolex for service/ repair and having the value of these vintage watches damaged.

Looking for a little help in deciding my next steps

Don't really do evaluations here but the snowflake Tudor has a lot of followers. Check the bay and other sites for values. Rolex will not service this as far as I know, to old and its a Tudor :-) Any good independent can service. Check out any CW21 ( certified watchmaker) in your area or check the fellows on this site. Looks like a service and a re lume of the hand to match & perhaps seal the back of the other will do the trick. Make sure you keep the original insert and crystal & crown (supposing you want it water tight) and they change the crystal, crown perhaps and tube plus seals).

Depends on the RSC. Mine in Tokyo refused to service my 9411/0, but I've heard of other RSCs accepting them. It doesn't seem there's a consistent company policy.

Thanks for your reply watchcrank,

looks like the hand is broken, not sure if a re lume will do the trick. what do you suggest I do to repair or replace? (Just so happens to be the nicest hand!)

Yes it is worth fixing ;) - if you don't want it I will take it ;)

Needs a serious overhaul and to have the lume in the hand replaced.

You do want the lume not to fall through the date window and fall into the movement though.

As mentioned above - pricing is sometimes frowned upon.

ABC in Los Angeles is a good place for repair.

Yeah that hour hand is wasted. Not sure how that happened but a re-Lume won't help!
