Incoming.. 5712 ... Let's see your pics!

Hey All,

I've been waiting for some time to get a 5711, but I wanted to buy it brand new vs pre-owned. I was offered one by my AD in December, but it wasn't a good time for me to bring a 5711 into the fold.

After a recent discussion with my AD, they let me know that they received a 5712. I did some research and decided to stretch a bit to get into the 5712 vs the 5711. I currently own a 5167, so also felt the 5711 would be a bit of an overlap.

No pics yet as I pick it up this weekend, but I would love to hear from current 5712 owners! How do you enjoy your 5712's?

Anyone else want a 5711 and decide to stretch to the 5712 instead? Was it worth it for you? Would love to see your 5712's!!

The wait is killing me, but I've waited quite some time to get a Nautilus, so two more sleeps won't kill me

Thanks!!

I'm not gonna put you old pics, especially I'm not very good photographing watches, since I don't have it anymore, but will tell you this, amazing watch, much more interesting than the 511 IMO, love the MP, great comfort though your 5167 might have a slight edge there, so basically you'll love it, congrats in advance

Welcome to the forum, how the hell did you get such a blue from your 5711??? Seen a bunch of pics of both models, had the 5712, and never have I seen this kind of blue, is it natural or has it been digitally enhanced in some way?? If the 5711 blue was always like this I would definitely get one, it is incredible...

I love my 5712 to be honest, I too looked at the 5711 and 5712 but decided to go for the 5712 as I really love the moonphase plus the more interesting dial on the 5712. Also has a little red on the dial which I like... Never regretted it and I am sure you will enjoy it too. Both great pieces though..

I really like the micro rotor in the 5712 movement, and overall I would pick the 5712 over 5711 personally. However, I must admit I actually ended up with the AP 15202 jumbo instead. For me the royal oak just spoke to me more than the nautilus (in SS), but I was soooo close to picking up a 5712R.

I love both the 5712 and 5711.
The micro rotor on the 5712 is awesome, but I really fell in love with the clean blue dial on the nautilus. I had a slight edge for the cleaner and simpler look.
You can't go wrong with either IMO.
Quick pic of my 5711.

I think the 5712 is a great addition to your 5167. I for one liked the 5712 for the PR and moonphase complication, I also like the charm of having asshmetrical dial. Dont get me wrong i also find the 5711 beautiful but the 5712 nautilus is alot more interesting in my eye.

Im sure you will enjoy the watch. It wears amazingly well on the wrist.

I have LOVED my 5712. I enjoy a little variety to the dial, the movement is incredible and the bracelet is off the charts comfortable. You will love yours when you get it - congrats in advance.

I ve debate between the two but liked the 12 better and still thinking as a great choice, the dial and the movement are really really special.

5712

Both 5711 and 5712 are great choices. I've debated between the 2 for a while. After seeing both I liked 5712 more. I actually like the dial lay out and the overall appearance and "complications" that come with it. Since I got it I've enjoyed it and have not regretted.

Good Luck and look forward to your pics.
